Kildare County is located in Leinster, Ireland. It’s the largest county in Ireland with a population of over 200,000 people. Kildare is known for its fertile soil, which makes it ideal for growing crops like barley and wheat. The Blackstairs Mountains are also located here and are popular hiking spots during the summer months when temperatures aren’t too hot or cold.
The Curragh Racecourse is another popular attraction in this area; every year it hosts one of Ireland’s most prestigious horse races called The Curragh Derby Day on May 26th each year where over 50 thousand people come together from all over Europe to watch this event live!

Red Spot Whiskey is a brand of Irish whiskey that has been distilled in Kildare County, Ireland since 1852. Red Spot was founded by John Jameson and named after the red spot on an Irish elk’s neck. Since its inception, Red Spot has been produced according to traditional methods using malted barley as well as water from Liffey Spring which flows through Dublin city center and into nearby streams. The distillery itself was built on land that once belonged to St Brigid’s Monastery; it still boasts many relics from this time period such as stone walls dating back almost 800 years!
